Gender and Sexual Development Program

Gender and Sexual Development Program

The Gender and Sexual Development Program is an integrated and coordinated collaboration of the:

Gender Affirming Care

We serve children and youth (up to age 26) with questions around gender and sexual identity development and transgender care.

The program:

  • Provides thorough clinical assessments.
  • Promotes shared decision making around treatment options following the informed consent model.
  • Provides a welcoming and affirming environment.
  • Connects our patients and families to community supports.
  • Advocates for safe, inclusive policies in school systems, health care settings and the workplace.
