Pediatric and Family Medicine Practice Liaison Program

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is committed to meeting the needs of referring physicians. Through the Pediatric and Family Medicine Practice Liaison Program, UPMC Children’s Hospital provides physicians direct access to hospital leadership, as we work together to provide the best care and service for pediatric patients and families. The liaisons serve as the point of contact for providers and are responsible for the following:

  • Ensure referring practices are updated on new or enhanced services offered at UPMC Children’s main campus and regional locations.
  • Manage and respond to feedback, questions, and concerns from referring providers.
  • Understand the needs of the referring practice and its patients to facilitate speakers, resources, events, and collaborations.

The Pediatric and Family Medicine Practice Liaison Program has recently been restructured to provide direct access to hospital leadership and to enhance the support that we provide to our referring physician partners and the patients they care for.
