Ashley Disantis, DPT, OCS is a physical therapist at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. She is the PT Team Lead for the Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Disantis received her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Richmond and her doctorate of physical therapy from Columbia University. She completed her orthopaedic physical therapy residency at the UPMC Center for Rehabilitation Services. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate in rehabilitation science at Duquesne University.
Dr. Disantis's clinical and research interests include rehabilitation of patients with non-arthritic hip disorders including hip labral tears, hip dysplasia, and femoroactabular impingement.
