Whether it's a sprained ankle, sports injury, or more severe trauma, our team is ready to help.
We treat young people of all ages, from newborns up to age 26 and work in both emergency and clinic settings.
A member of the orthopaedic trauma team is on call 24/7 in the Emergency Department (ED) at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Our fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons have extra years of training focused on treating children's muscle, bone, and joint problems.
Our surgeons work closely with a great team of:
- Certified nurse practitioners.
- Registered nurses.
- Experts trained in children's casting.
- Child life specialists who can distract and comfort children during treatment.
