The Pediatric Simulation Center of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is designed to address the educational needs of the clinical staff and the medical needs of our patients. It incorporates life-like simulators and multi-task trainers that allow healthcare professionals to recognize and manage a wide assortment of pediatric-related medical conditions.
Offering a learning system based on adult education principles, the Pediatric Simulation Center also helps faculty and staff create simulation courses tailored to the needs of our patients.
